How I came to do insulation in Odessa
I spent years on crews for a big commercial insulation outfit, working metal buildings and large roofs, before I started B&R Odessa Insulation Company here in 2017. Those jobs taught me that the prep and the order of the work matter as much as the insulation itself, because good material won't do much if it's laid over a roof leak, a wiring problem or wet ground.
I still come out to every job and write the estimate myself, and our crew lead runs the install with the crew. Homeowners, landlords and small business owners call us about a hot upstairs, a drafty room over the garage or a power bill that keeps climbing. They call because they want a straight answer, and I'd rather take the time to explain the job than rush anyone into signing. You hear the plan from me before you decide
I look at your attic or crawl space myself and walk you through what I find, so you know what each step is for before you spend anything. If you already have enough insulation up there, I'll tell you that too, because more of it wouldn't be worth your money.
We fix what's wrong before we cover it up
We check for a roof leak, a damp crawl space or a wiring problem first, because fresh insulation over any of those just hides it while it gets worse. If we find one, we'll show you what it is and what needs to happen before we insulate.
Careful prep and a clean house when we leave
Commercial work taught me to protect what's below, seal the gaps around lights, pipes and the attic hatch, and keep the vents at the eaves open before any insulation goes in. Our crew lead brings that same habit to your house, and we're fully licensed and insured.
