B&R Odessa Insulation Company, odessainsulationcompany.com, hi@odessainsulationcompany.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the B&R Odessa Insulation Company website and any insulation work you hire us to do. By using this site or booking a job with us, you agree to them, so please read them before you schedule.

If a written estimate or contract we give you for a specific job says something different from this page, the written estimate or contract controls for that job. You can always start back at our home page or learn more about our company.

What we do

We're an insulation contractor in Odessa, TX, and we work in Odessa and the cities around it. Our work includes attic, wall, crawl space and basement insulation, blown-in and spray foam insulation, air sealing, vapor barriers, insulation removal and commercial insulation.

Information on this website is general and meant to help you understand the work. It isn't a promise about your house, because what a job needs usually isn't clear until our crew has looked in your attic, walls or crawl space.

Estimates and pricing

We give free in-person estimates with no pressure and no obligation. An estimate is based on what we can see and reach during the visit, along with the material and the scope you choose.

Sometimes we find something once the job is open that we couldn't see before, such as old insulation that's wet or full of droppings, damaged framing, or gaps that need sealing first. When that happens, we stop, explain what we found and what it would cost to fix, and we don't do the extra work until you approve it.

Unless the estimate says otherwise, an estimate stays good for 30 days from the date on it, because material prices and our schedule can change after that.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We set a start date with you once you accept the estimate. Weather, material deliveries and conditions found on site can move that date, and if they do, we'll call you as soon as we know.

You agree to give our crew safe access to the work areas, which usually means a clear path to the attic hatch or crawl space entrance, pets kept away from the crew, and power available on the day of the job.

Some products, such as spray foam, need the house empty for a set time while they cure. We'll tell you before the job when to leave and when it's safe to come back, based on the product maker's instructions, and you agree to follow that guidance for your family's safety.

If you need to cancel or move your appointment, call us at (432) 280-0033 as early as you can, ideally at least one business day ahead. If you cancel after we've ordered special materials for your job, we may charge for materials we can't return.

Payment

Your estimate or contract lists what you owe, when it's due and whether a deposit is needed before we start. Payment is due as written there, and the balance is usually due when the work is done.

If a payment is late, we may pause any remaining work until it's settled. You're responsible for reasonable costs we have to pay to collect an unpaid balance, to the extent Texas law allows.

Our guarantee and warranty limits

We stand behind our work, and if something we did isn't right, tell us and we'll come back to make it right. Any specific written warranty on labor or material will be stated in your estimate or contract, and product warranties come from the material maker under their own terms.

Beyond what's written in your estimate, contract or a maker's warranty, our work and this website are provided without other warranties, to the extent Texas law allows. We can't guarantee a specific drop in your power bill or a set indoor temperature, because those depend on things outside our work, like your windows, your HVAC system, how you use the house and the weather.

Our guarantee doesn't cover damage caused by roof leaks, plumbing leaks, pests, other contractors, or changes made to the work after we finish.

Limits on our liability

To the extent Texas law allows, our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We aren't liable for indirect or follow-on losses, such as lost use of a room or lost income, unless the law says we must be.

We aren't responsible for problems that already existed in your house before we started, such as mold, hidden water damage or wiring issues, though we'll tell you if we see them. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow a business to limit.

Using this website

You may use this site to learn about our services and to contact us. Please don't copy our content for commercial use, try to break or overload the site, or send us anything unlawful through the contact form.

When you send us your name, phone number or other details, we use them to reply to you and to handle your job. Links to other websites are there for your convenience, and we don't control what's on them.

If we disagree about something

If you're unhappy with a job or a bill, call us first at (432) 280-0033 or reach us through our contact page. Most problems get settled quickly once we can look at them with you, so we ask that you give us a fair chance to fix things before taking other steps.

If we can't settle it together, either of us may bring the matter to a court with authority over Odessa, Texas. You and we agree to that location for any legal action about our work or this website.

Governing law

These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to rules that would apply another state's law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one in effect. Changes don't affect a job already covered by a signed estimate or contract unless you agree to them.

If you have a question about these terms, get in touch through our contact page and we'll answer it in plain words.
